서서울미술관 건립 국제지명공모
서울시가 상대적으로 부족한 서남권 지역의 문화예술시설을 보완하고자, 서울시립미술관의 분관인 ‘서서울미술관’을 금천구 금나래중앙공원 내에 짓는다. 시는 국제지명설계공모로 최종 안을 선정키로하고, 공모운영위원회를 통해 5개 참가팀을 선정, 발표했다. 대표 참가자는 한국인 건축가 3인(김찬중, 최욱, 민성진)과 외국인 건축가 2인(리우 지아쿤, 로저 리베). 최종 당선작은 6월 30일 발표되며, 당선자에게는 계획, 중간, 실시설계에 대한 계약체결 우선협상권이 부여된다.
서울시립미술관은 현재 서소문 본관과 중계동 북서울미술관, 남현동 남서울미술관, 상암동 난지미술창작스튜디오, 불광동 세마 창고, 창신동 백남준 기념관, 여의도 세마벙커까지 총 7개 공간을 운영하고 있다. 2022년 완공을 목표로 추진중인 평창동 미술문화복합공간과 창동 서울사진미술관에 이어 서서울미술관까지 완성되면, 서울시의 네트워크형 미술관 모델 구축은 방점을 찍게 될 전망이다.
1. 공모개요
(1) 대상지: 서울시 금천구 독산동 1151번지 일대 (금나래중앙공원 일부)
(2) 대상지 면적: 7,370m2
(3) 용도: 문화및집회시설 (미술관)
(4) 연면적 : 7,000m2 (±5% 범위 내 조정가능)
(5) 높이: 15m 이하
(6) 공모방식: 국제지명공모
(7) 예정설계비: 16억3천7백만원 (부가세 및 손해배상책임 보증증권 포함)
(8) 예정공사비: 266억원 (제경비 및 부가세 포함)
(9) 예정 설계기간: 착수일로부터 360일 (계약 시 확정 예정, 공휴일 등 포함)

Seo-Seoul Museum of Art International Invited Design Competition
The purpose of this competition is to select an optimal architectural plan for establishment of ‘Seo-Seoul Museum of Art’ through fair competition and judgement.
1. Eligibility
Domestic and foreign licensed landscape architects
2. Scope
(1) Location: 1151, Doksan-dong, Geumcheon-gu, Seoul, Republic of Korea (part of Geumnarae Central Park)
(2) Site Area: 7,370㎡
(3) District Zone: Quasi-Industrial Area, park (culture park), Geumcheon-gu center district-unit planning zone
(4) Gross Floor Area: 7,000㎡ (within ±5%)
(5) Height: Below 15m
(6) Building Coverage Ratio: 14.79%(within area of 2,150㎡ – decided by urban park committee)
(7) Building Usage: Cultural and Assembly Facility (Art Museum)
(8) Parking capacity: satisfied legally designated capacity
(9) Estimated construction cost: KRW 26,600million (incl. overhead expenses and VAT)
(10) Design service Fee: KRW 1,637million (incl. VAT and guaranteed securities for liability for
damages)
*Relevant commission fees such as measurement, site investigation, energy efficiency rating, green certificate, B/F certificate, underground safety screening costs are included in design service fee
*Scheduled period: 360 days from the starting date (to be fixed when signing contract, including national holidays)

(2) Participatory prize winners
1) Compensation expense
– KRW 30,000,000 each for Korean teams
– KRW 40,000,000 for overseas team (incl. expenses to participate in the on-site briefing and screening session)
2) Provision of compensation expenses
– Korean participants will receive expenses in Korean Won.
– In the case of prize winners in foreign countries, the prize money shall be paid in U.S. dollars based on the exchange rate at the time of payment (within 30 days of the award ceremony)
